the Heart behind M.A.D.

More Than Support.

We Believe

Every. Person. Matters.

Years Ago we discovered something simple...

People rarely need someone to rescue them...

they need someone who

believes in them long enough

for them to believe in themselves...

That belief has shaped all of our work over the years...

We focus on relationships before routines,

connection first, and

practical support that builds confidence, independence and genuine capacity...

why we call ourselves M.A.D.!

We're M.A.D.!

M.A.D. that barriers still exist.

M.A.D. that Young People

are too often overlooked.

M.A.D. that low Expectations

limit what's possible.

M.A.D. that Loneliness

1is still part of too many lives.

M.A.D. that Injustice

continues to stand in the way...

so we are doing something about it!

we advocate

we empower

we connect

we create opportunities, and

we stand beside young people as they build their lives

filled with purpose, belonging

and possibility...

because, if something isn't right, being M.A.D. is the first step!

Meet Paul

Paul believes there’s more to a person than their disability, diagnosis or where they’re at today.

With 30+ years working alongside young people, families and communities, Paul brings experience, patience and a practical approach to helping people build confidence, independence and a sense of belonging.

He’s a problem-solver who enjoys getting alongside people, finding out what makes them tick and helping turn “I can’t” into “let’s give it a go.” Paul isn’t about doing things for people. He’s about finding the right way to help people discover what they can do for themselves.
